| Mention of an athlete's real job (including commercials) | 1 drink |
| Athlete's job sucks (i.e. Home Depot, Hooters, etc.) | 2 extra drinks |
| Any mention of the "Olympic Spirit", "Spirit of the Olympics", etc. | 2 drinks |
| Any mention of the 1980 US men's hockey team, Miracle on Ice | 2 drinks |
| An announcer makes ridiculous or inane comment | 1 drink |
| Any mention of a country you have never heard of | Chug |
| Bode Miller mentioned without drunk skiing | 1 drink |
| Bode Miller mentioned with drunk skiing | Chug |
| Any mention of Michelle Kwan | 1 drink |
| Any time an announcer says "Grazie" | 1 drink |
| Any time an announcer mentions the brand name of a uniform supplier, like "Roots" or "Nike" | 1 drink |
| Any mention of or sighting of a FIAT | 1 drink |
| Any time Bob Costas uses the word "majestic" | 1 drink |
| Any time Katie Couric mispronounces the name of a country/city | 1 drink |
| Any time those scary-ass mascots appear | 1 drink |

The second part of the game requires each player to choose a different country. A person will drink when
of the following actions concerns their country.

| Mention of an athlete from the country expected to take silver | 2 drinks |
